Alan, I've never had that happen on any site that I have Admin rights on so one of the other Team Members here might have some ideas.  Have you tried going directly to the Package Manager on your site when you are logged into your site to see if you can duplicate it?  Try putting the following into the address bar of your browser and hitting return to see what happens ...

I certainly don't think TinyPortal being installed has anything to do with this though you aren't using the latest version.  You are on TinyPortal version 1.0 RC4.  Sorry I can't help you on this.

ZarPrima,

I tried the url you supplied but I still get the same result - a blank white screen

You need to find the error. If there is no error pertinent in your SMF log to this, then you'll need to look at the error_log on your server when this error happens.

Unfortunately I don't have access to my host's logs so I am unable to find the error. I suspect in might be memory allocation on the host server as when I try to uninstall TP I get an insufficient memory error, "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 314409 bytes) in /home/a9623288/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-Package.php on line 2072". That also coincides with the problem with the Package Manager. On the rare occasions that I can get into the Package Manager I can also successfully uninstall and re-install TP.

Yes, that is a hosting issue. They allocate only so much memory as well as file upload size (the size of a file that can be uploaded at once) to your account. I suspect that both are an issue so you will want to talk to them so they can adjust it. If they will not adjust it, I suggest that you search for new hosting.

Thanks guys for your help.

I'll probably move to a different host but in the mean time to get to all of the SMF admin functions in preparation for the move I need to "turn off" TinyPortal. As I've already said I can't access the package manager to uninstall TP, this problem seems to have got worse and I can't access the Package Manager at all. Is there a way I can "turn off" TP without uninstalling?

There's no option to just turn TP off. You'll have to go through the code and remove what has been modified.
