Maxx, TinyPortal should update fine to the latest version from the version that he is using but, for those of us who prefer to uninstall the old version before upgrading, not having the Mods listed in the Package Manager makes it much more difficult to do this.

Sogfrog, if you are going to upgrade to the latest version, make sure that you first do a full backup of your site and Database before doing so.  BTW, are there any Mods listed in your Package Manager?

What is very odd is that:

1) In my "installed packages" page I can see 4 other installed packages (but no Tinyportal)
2) In my "packages" folder I do see an installed.list file
3) In this "packages" folder I also see an intact "backups" folder

It seems that an update to the newest version is the best idea.  However, is my issue going to complicate the update?
Once again, thanks for the quick responses.  I very much so appreciate all the help you have given me thus far :D

Well the easiest way to correct this 4px, issue would be to modify the TPStyle.css as I mentioned and Up load this to your Main theme ( inferno) folder Via FTP and be done with it until you figure, if you want to or get some one to get in and look at your set up for recommendations!

Check make sure you have the latest TP Version first!

OK in your TPStyle.css

it will look something like this:
#tptopbarHeader,
#tpbottombarHeader,
#tpleftbarHeader,
#tprightbarHeader,
#tplowerbarHeader,
#tpcenterbarHeader,
#tpcontentHeader,
#tpfrontpanel_top
{
padding-bottom: 0;
}

Now if you edit this style and, you do not want to change the TP main system style, you can just up load this modified TPStyle.css to the Inferno's main folder, where it's index.template.php is and it should work, with changing any other themes!

hope this helps!,

Maxx

OK so I found a tp-style.css file in the default theme folder.  Is this the file you were mentioning?  The padding-bottom was set at zero.  I tried what you suggested (creating a local tp-style.css file with that code) and it did pretty much nothing.

Also if it helps, this problem (left and right panels not lining up with the center content) exists regardless of the theme used.

I have attached a tp-style.css ( zip) file you can dwn load unzip and upload to your theme!or to the perspective TP folder.

Once again, I appreciate your help Maxx, but the changes you suggested have made no difference.  I uploaded the tp-style.css file you attached to the inferno theme folder.

Another thing I noticed is that this middle section is only pushed down while viewing forum posts or dealing with other forum related functions.  For example, when viewing the calendar, admin pages, and articles everything lines up perfectly.

Maxx1

I noticed when viewing your site that there is a 4px. padding using down the Center section, and that appears to be a very oled or modified tp-style, so you may need to do the up grade and Like mentioned before one of us could get in and have a look if you PM temp admin access, it does not have to be me could be Zarpime. However everyone here knows me and I do this all the time! So it up to you Friend!

we can try to fix the style before considering an update but, the update should be done in time!

Maxx
