I've search for a suitable answer but can't seem to find anything current regard the External Article feature in TP.

If I assume correctly if I create an external article pulling from an html or php file on the current domain then I should just be able to specify that using External Article and after configuring up have it display like any written article. All I see though is text not available in the block.

There doesn't seem to be an explanation of just how the external article function works and I have over 300 external articles I need to access.

Any hints or do I just need to byte the bullet and use IFRAMEs in an HTML block?

Thank you very much

Crip

So then what is the purpose, use for the External Article type?

It has a bug I have discovered just now and it will be fixed in the update out this weekend - but you are indeed meant to just write the path+file RELATIVE to the forum folder. So just put all your files inside a folder inside the forum root, and all you need is to specify the path to that, like "myarticles/test.html"

Great. That's what I was hoping. Will wait for the fix release so I can get it going.

Thanks much Bloc.
