Ok, this whole "no name"(which is string showing if a category doesn't have a name) comes from the need to have AT LEAST one category. Category 9999 doesn't exist, its just way to show "root" for the sorting to work. Add one category and the 9999 should disappear.

In TP 1.0 beta5 this is rewritten so no need for the shadow category anymore.

Ah, didn't know that about at least 1 category required.  Actually, never even thought about it.  Good to know.

Thanks Bloc.

I just tried reading through this thread, but still can't resolve the -no name- error from coming up ONLY on any article with more than one category.

Site > category > article  = works fine.
http://www.pnwbemani.net/page/proper-ddr-arcade-etiquette/

Site > -no name- > category > sub-category > article  = the error.
http://www.pnwbemani.net/page/dance-game-flat-foot-technique/

I've searched the article table in the sql database, no errors there.
Using 1.0 b4 on the site.

Are there any other things I should try?

This topic is 12 days old now since the last post but, so the issue may be fixed.  If not, then the issue is probably because of the subcategory being in a category that doesn't have an article in it.  Or does it?

Try putting an article in the parent category and see if this solves the problem.

Issue is not fixed yet, I just try to be patient instead of users who spam their problem every hour until it's fixed. :)

There actually are articles in both the parent and child categories. I've also tried moving the folders into other article folders to see if any combo would go away, but it still would show up.

I'm pretty sure I'm using an older version of beta 4 of TP, not sure if this error is related. I haven't updated out of lack of need to yet, but might be doing that soon...

But yeah, all folders have at least one article, and it'll still show up. Also, it's not replacing a category name, it's an additional one before the first folder.

Is this related? From the SMF Error Log:

http://www.pnwbemani.net/index.php?cat=9999
8: Undefined index: options
File: /public/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 1348

You need to check the categories' parent field in the editing screen, and save it. They may have the older value of 9999, when they should be just 0.

If that doesn't work, it may be a mix of old and new template files, so try upload both TPadmin.template.php and TPadmin.php yet again, just to be sure, and save once more.
