hehe, no problem. I rememered I'd posted about it back when it came out. I'm not sold on this browser yet. The functionality is not there yet for this browser. I'm not a fan of webkit either, but it seems to work. Chrome is fast because they haven't put anything in it yet. :)

I have to say.. this isn't fast because it's empty with no features.. it's fast because it's done differently.

Another thought that crosses my mind.. I do love the fact that they have "borrowed ideas", used a few.. come up with some new ones.... BUT, there are few innovations, if any. Cleaned up, yes.. borrowed from Safari, yes.

I feel they (Google) struck a gold mine with their search engine.. much now is technology bought. We have the money, we'll buy you out.. it's now ours. This is a philosophy I hate.. I hate it. They, like Microsoft, now have the money to buy small, innovative companies.. as does Adobe.. It becomes branded as "theirs". I hate that.

I'm all for progression, but the little man gets paid out and stepped on. He's probably chuffed with his million.

Chrome isn't solely a Google product... it's based upon free community products, I'm pleased they have returned the favour by releasing their code too.
