External links within TP

Does anyone know if there's a way to add an external link in a TP page. That is, instead of having the link open up a new page/window, have it open in place of the normal article yet keep the panels?

if this is what I think you are talking about you can do it with an iframe in an article

this is what I use.  You can adjust it to suit your needs.  Also search iframes and you will find more info .
