First I upgraded the SMF to 1.1 Final from 1.1RC3, which appears to be the actual result.  At least is says "powered by SMF 1.1" like the bottom of this page.

Second I made a big boob of myself.  I went into the admin/packages and deleted the add-on TP 0.9.5.  I came to my senses before I deleted the 0.9.6.

Now the TP is gone, except the data files are still intact. In fact it appears all the folders that accompany the TP are still intact, but not being accessed.

-------------------

My intent was to:

upgrade to 1.1 Final SMF

upgrade Bloc Helios Multi to 1.1 Final from 1.1RC3

upgrade Bloc Helios Multi TP from 1.1RC3 to 1.1 Final

------------------

As I recall I had to put the SMF into the default theme when making any changes to the SMF or TP themes.

I'd appreciate a trail through this swamp.  I'm reluctant re-install 0.9.5, especially since 0.9.6 is installed.

Anyway I think I explained well enough.

You have jumped the gun a bit, you have updated SMF without checking that there are compatable versions of the mods and themes available to work with it.

When you upgraded SMF you erased the modifications that TP or any other mod you had installed, had made to the SMF files. Upgrading SMF will not remove any files or folders that are not SMF files.

Helios Multi has been updated but Helios Multi TP hasn't yet been updated for SMF 1.1.

TP 0.97b is the TP version that will work with SMF 1.1, you should not try to re-install TP 0.95 or TP 0.96 into SMF 1.1. Do not run the SMF 1.1.1 patch until after you have installed TP 0.97b. When it becomes available TP 0.98b will be compatable with SMF 1.1.1.

When Helios Multi TP for SMF 1.1 is available it will work with 1.1 and 1.1.1.

It appears that Bloc has updated, and uploaded, Helios Multi for 1.1 Final and TP, along with a lot of his other themes.  See this link ---> http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=cat597;tpstart=10

I am still running the Helios 1.1RC3 SMF theme.  The forums are running fine on the SMF 1.1 Final version.

I lost the TP when I removed the 0.9.5 in the package manager.  That is the way it seemed to me.  I can't believe I did that. D'oh.

Anyway, I've got users wanting to know where my downloads are since they're only available through the TP.

I would like to repeat this... I remember something about changing the SMF theme to the default theme when installing the TP.   I realize there are some files that all the different themes access, which are in the default them folder.

I read the bit about the 1.1.1 patch somewhere while searching around.  I haven't DL the patch.

More specifically,  has someone written a good procedure/FAQ I can follow to straighten this out?

Essentially, whilst in default theme

Install/upgrade to SMF 1.1,
install TP,
install the 1.1.1 patch throught the package manager
install any themes that you want.

I thought I was DL the 1.1 Final from SMF, but evidently the most recent DL of the 1.1.Final includes the patched version 1.1.1.  I looked at the bottom of my forums since upgrading to what I thougth was 1.1 and it now reads 1.1.1

Is it possible to un-install the 1.1.1 patch or is there another workaround?

Thanks

If you installed the patch seperately it can be uninstalled, if you installed SMF 1.1.1 no. There are some suggested workarounds but if you have a problem with one......

TP 0.98b, when available, will be compatable with SMF 1.1.1 and fully supported.

As this thread just keeps going on for no use at all as we dont HAVE a TP for SMF 1.1.1 other then the ones posted in the forum by other users (Serach for them) and the other questions is all just related to SMF and not TP i will just lock this now.
