Hey guys! Anyways, I have a problem with my site :(..Everytime I try to access the admin panel, it gives me this problem
QuoteTable 'souljaa_localhost.modules' doesn't exist
File: /home/souljaa/public_html/Sources/TPSubs.php
Line: 63
So I tried re-installing that file, but it's still the same, it says Line: 63, but I don't know where that is. It's maybe something really simple, but any help is gladly appreciated!
Thanks for your time.
Oh, almost forgot! Here's my site: www.forumbeats.net
Thank you.

Seems that the error you have on your site in the bottom say you didnt install TP, or the install of TP went bad.

Dont know what you have done to get this error, but you need to make sure TP installed correctly.

Install the package through the package manager, or if you get errors in the files when the package manager parse the code, you need to install manually.

How do I manually install TinyPortal

Modification Instructions

Hey G6! Thanks for the really quick response. :). Well I tried to install it manually, but I don't know where to find the file, "tp-version.mod" :S, I downloaded the TP Package, but it doesn't seem to be there :S.
Is there any way I could just fully un-install it now, and then just install it again?
Thanks a lot,
Souljaa.

Souljaa,

There are a variety of things that could be happening here but what we need to do is start at the beginning.  Please read and reply to the Posting Guidelines.  The information you give us will help to narrow down the problem.

Also, please tell us how you originally tried to install TP and what specific version you downloaded.  Also, where did you get that theme?  If you installed TP 0.98, themes have to be converted to work with versions of TP before 1.0x so if you got that theme on SMF, for instance, it may not be converted.

Anyway, give us the information we need that's in the Posting Guidelines and that will tell us where we need to go from here.

EDIT:  Also, have you installed any other SMF Mods since you tried to install TP?

Hey ZarPrime!
Alright, here's the info needed from the Guideline.
Link to my site: http://www.forumbeats.net
SMF version: SMF 1.1.5
TP version: Well, that's where I think I screwed up, I installed TP before, and since I saw this error, I downloaded the latest version, and uploaded all the files to FTP...So I'm not even sure anymore =/.
Theme name and version: kelo-lt114_v3
Mods installed: Ah! I have many mods installed...But I can't really accesss Admin Panel..Is there any way I can access this through FTP and tell you?
Related Error messages: There error I get is this,
QuoteTable 'souljaa_localhost.modules' doesn't exist
File: /home/souljaa/public_html/Sources/TPSubs.php
Line: 63

Thanks a lot, and sorry for the lack of info...Please tell me if there's any other way I can help you, help me.

And yes! After I installed TP, I have installed 1 or 2 mods, but I can't remember which ones...Sorry that's probably no help..
Thanks

Well, what was the last thing you did before it all went wrong?

A list of Mods can be found here: /public_html/Packages

Did you install a mod and it went wrong? You have provided the information requested, but not being mind readers, we need to know what you did. If you installed a mod, and it went wrong, you can try downloading a backup.

SMF is clever, assuming you installed via the Package Manager.. SMF automatically creates backups.. I can also tell you that if you are using lots of mods and your disk quota is looking a bit bleak, I would hazard a guess that the Packages Backups are running amok and some need deleting.

These can be found here:
/public_html/Packages/Backups

The file will look something like: 2008-10-12_before_TP106_beta2.tar.gz

Download, Unzip.. upload the contents to the /public_html/ folder. The files will replace the dodgy ones with what you had before the install. May be totally irrelevant, but useful to know for future.

Just upgrade your database, the error indicate you to have a missing table and that usually means you havent installed the database tables correctly.
