Sources are set to 777, do i need to chmod any other folders?

Are you un-installing TP first? You don't need to.

No I'm not un-installing TP first, but a really weird thing has happened.  I have a test site exactly the same as my main site which I obviously use for testing installs/updates etc, and the TP upgrade worked without a hitch.  Its only when I try the upgrage on my main site that the problem occurs.

I assume its down to file permissions - I'll have a check through them.

SMF 1.1(+) will work with the neptune package ...or not ? Neptune looks pretty good for me and i donÂÃ,´t want to change this to another themes or the default theme of SMF

Yes it does work. But not without errors  in the log I believe.

Neptuen works in bet3 just fine. It also works in RC1, but you will see errors in the error log because Bloc has not updated all of his themes to work properly with RC1.

Bloc will be updating all is themes to be compatible for RC1 of SMF in the near future as he has stated in many other threads.

I really like Tiny Portal. The newest release is awesome! The addition of php articles adds a lot of possibilities.
