Thanks for the sorting tip ... but in the quest for clarity I'll add that I'm trying to do the exact opposite.

Yes, ;sort=first_post is close - but I want the exact opposite.

You would think that ;sort=last_post would do the exact opposite of ;sort=first_post ... but it does not (because of comments).

This is not your issue - I've got questions into SMF for resolution as this seems so basic.

It could work if you allowed no comments..but that is a bit strange perhaps. This will need some sort of mod probably.
