My honey to the rescue again. :D

Jpg, if you don't feel comfortable giving advice I would suggest you don't. :) Although your advice wasn't really that bad, its just easier to leave people that "know" what they're talking about to solve the issues. And as usual, G6 is on the case.

I have a rename.php utility that someone at SMF made, you edit it on your own PC, ftp it to your site, mine is in my backups folder then run it from your browser. I also have two very useful files created by [UNKNOWN] create_backup.php and restore_backup.php. These will create and save your d/b to a folder on your site. There is a download option in it but I prefer to ftp (set sql to ASCII mode transfer). The advantage restoring them this way, is that there is no limit on file size.

I'll try to upload them to the download manager, all zipped together.

Thanks to all that replied, jpg was the first to reply and probably stoped me from droping the whole db. Thanks! jpg

But of course Mrs G6 is hopefully going to "save the day"

Just think when this get fixed we can all sit around the campfire and talk about this little incident and how funny it was. Of course the story sounds better if it gets fixed first.

I can make a really good Taco casserole, I forgot to mention. Yum Yum!

Thanks in nokonium, Lets see what Mrs. G6 can do first. But it does sound interesting.

This is the files that you need, and the code are already in them so just upload them to the correct place (MAKE BACKUP OF THE OLD BEFORE YOU OVERWRITE THEM)

1.1rc3 and TP V.086 Manual install files fixed.

Index.php <---- forum root folder
Index.template.php <---- forum/themes/default/

the rest of them in your /forum/sources/

And again. Dont forget to make backup of the ones you have there now first.

I've uploaded them to the download manager, currently awaiting approval, if anyone wants to use them.

OH yes, take my work  :knuppel2:     :2funny:  :2funny:  :2funny:

I have fixed the forum now though, hope you will fix your theme issues and be happy with it after that :)

You are awesome!
YES it works good except for the right side blocks. For whatever reason I deleted the blocks and re-installed them published them but they still produce duplicate right side block beneath the forum.

Any ideas what would call the right side only blocks up twice?

Nevermind, unless you did something I uploaded the oxygen theme (after I cleanup the theme mess I had)  and the problem is no longer there?

Thanks again!

YES you gave me the confidence & perseverance to keep asking for help!!  :2funny:

or I would have dropped the DB and just started over. Not the way I wanted to do it.

Gracias amigo

Some duplicate code in your index.template.php added by the installed on my site (a bug) but i have commented it out in yours now.
Now it looks OK :)
