TinyPortal v1.0 beta 5-1 - Menus

The ordering problem still exists with TinyPortal v1.0 beta 5-1 Menus

Any suggestions?

It works fine on my install, so I can only assume something is not updated on your end. SMF 1.1 or 2.0?

Blue Steel

I just modified the ordering and added more to the internal menu and its working fine here too

Swampy

Powered by SMF 2.0 RC3

Would you like access to check it out?

Mine work fine here also.

Using SMF 2.0 RC3 also.

Try this:
  - uninstall
  - delete package on server
  - download latest
  - reinstall

hahahaha.....

Yep I tried that and now I got nothing. :)

Uninstalled the update and got left with a blank screen.  hmmmm.....

okay will fix this mess and get back to you after I have pulled my hair out and gone for a scotch rocks!!!

:idiot2:

I would say that you have something more wrong than the TP issues. An uninstall should not render the forum useless.

Did you get any errors?  Sometimes the call top initiate TP gets left in the index.php in the root of your forums.

Swampy

Yep on the index.php. I reverted back to the altered one and got the forum back.

Uninstalled all other packages.

Uninstalled tp update

then tried to uninstall TP and got an entire page of errors. So I didn't attempt to uninstall it.

Reinstalled the update tp and got the image attached, however menu ordering problem persists.

IchBin

No menu problem here either. I'd suggest you go through the manual install to make sure everything is done.

Actually got the very same on my first testsite where i uninstalled TP and then reinstalled it, got a blank page and went in to the files manually ans saw that some old code wasent removed and got duplicated on a few files. Removed one of the duplicates and saved the file and everything were good to go again. This was between the Alpha tp5 and the public beta TP5, didnt have any issues like this between the TP5 and TP5-1 though, there it went as it should uninstall and reinstall.
You might have to look through the files manually as IchBin said if you have uninstalled and installed through several TP versions, i bet you have some old code still in there messing up  :)
