okay read *parts of* it :)
but what do i do abt my prob?

borgBOB

I cannot be sure, there could be a setting in TP admin, for frontpage settings that you missed. Could be a bad file. Many of these types of problems are dependant on many factors, so there is no silver bullet answer. Mostly you just have to keep tring different settings.

Prasad007

ok ill try something and post updates

Prasad007

when i select "Frontpage Blocks" in "What to show on frontpage:"
its shown
but not when i select " Both forum and articles - sorted on date"

Its only on frontpage blocks they show - not on "forum an articles". But centerblocks do show.

I have it working in a default based theme, I don't have any other of Bloc's themes installed, unless it is down to something like missing a ; or } on copy and paste I'm  :-\

I'm pretty sure my copy and paste was accurate, but I've attached a copy of TPortal.php with my two RSS feeds inserted (in hopefully the right spot) in case you'd like to check it for me  :)

Bloc - do you have any idea why the menu headers no longer show in the left block (although they are still in the menu manager list) when I use the attached TPortal.php rather than the default one?  Do you think it's a problem related to the Amber theme, especially since nokonium says it is working with the default theme?

Cheers

Gidget, I am flummoxed. I have put your TPortal.php file into my Fiddlers Elbow test site and added the two feeds to the menu, with a header. The header is missing in the display but present in the menu manager. So I added in my RSS feed to the same file, this also has an article and header in the menu and that displays properly.

I have been looking at it in a theme called BB test, this is a straight copy of the default theme and Our Local which is a modified default theme.

Bloc has admin privelages on this test site (if he can remember his password  ;) )

Hi nokonium

Thank you very much for doing those tests on my feeds  :)  I'm glad (in a way) that I'm not the only one who's flummoxed

It's starting to look like the Google feed is the cause of my problem  :-\

I'm sure Bloc will solve it - he's my hero  ;D

Cheers
