I installed it and made all the changes I needed for my site, but when I the "admin" of the site clicks on the sign up button I get this message:

An Error Has Occurred!
The user whose profile you are trying to view does not exist.

When a normal member clicks the sign up button they get the same message.

The link I have attached to the button is:

http://www.troutpredator.info/index.php?action=profile;sa=subscriptions

Any ideas??? I'm not very good with code but I appreciate any help I can get?

I'm running a pretty urls mod, does that make a difference?

When I navigate to the subscription page, the url reads:

http://troutpredator.info/profile/?u=1;sa=subscriptions

Where the u=1 differs depending on the user trying to subscribe.

Thanks in advance!

I am not familiar with the "pretty URL's" mod.   I used it once before for a short while.

Anyways,  i currently use:

/index.php?action=profile;sa=subscriptions

for the "sugn up" button and it works.

For your "pretty url" mod,  i think should work something like:

/subscriptions

or

/profile/subscriptions

just play with it.

Try it and see if it works.   If not, ask at the mod creators thread over at SMF on how the "subscriptions" url would look like.

The subscription url reads like above with the u=1 value being different for each user depending on their subscription order, however that makes it hard for me to create a universal link for every user.

I'm a super novice at this so maybe there is a url that is obvious that I am missing.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!
