posting a picture

I have an add picture someone sent me to post on my site how can I post the picture I know how to post codes but cant get the picture to post

There are lots of ways to post pictures, one common way is to attach it to a post by using the 'Additional Options' link at the bottom of your message window.

sorry  needed to give more info I want to be able to click on it and it take you to there site I know how to code it after I get it download it but cant get it downloaded

You either need to upload it to your site and link to it in your post, or attach it to the post like Ken mentioned.

Where do you want the picture to appear? In a post in the forum? In a block? In an article?

Smoky, although it's great that you do support, but please, when you go it to a forum and do the things for members, alsp post in the forum what you have done to get it to work.
Forum is a place to help one and other, this topic will not help the next one asking the same question as how to solve it is missing.
So please, post how you did it and we can see this as a closed matter.

If you have your editor installed and being used, you should be able to upload/attach the image to your block, and make it linkable.

If that doesn't work, then are you using a php block or a HTML block?
