DL manager error.

I get this error when I click "Upload" in the file manager admin area.  It appears on a blank white page.

no mods installed (other than TP of course)

Have you tried to upload a smaller file and with other exstensions ?

Alsowhen you name a file you want to upload, you cant have any spacing or signs in the file name

I don't even get that far.  Blank white page as soon as I click to go to the upload page.

Make sure you got TP installed properly.

Upload the files from the package manually and then check the TP code inside the SMF files so it got added correctly.

After thinking about this a bit more I'm pretty sure TP is installed right.  No errors from install and all those files look ok like on the page you mentioned.

This was all working fine until today.  In thinking what could have changed I remembered I was trying to upload a file last night, and having some trouble downloading it again.  I looked in the forum error log and found it's 1,118,481 pages long.  I looked at the database in PHPmyadmin and see the db_forumslog_errors table has 16,777,215 entries and is 3.9Gb.  Looks like it all happened in on second while trying to download that file.  What could have caused this?

If I were you I would empty that error log. Then deal with the errors that you are getting. You may not be getting some of those anymore. Also, many of the errors you're asking about have already been reported and asked about.

I've emptied that table in the database and now it's half working.  Uploading and Downloading small files (under 2 or 3 mb) works but I get the following errors on uploading (no error with downloading).

Larger files (10mb+) produce the same error but no file is uploaded and it resets to the upload form with no fields filled out.  Also there is no limit on the server for upload size, this is a server I own, not a shared host.

Searched on this error and haven't found anything really helpful.  Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms?

Another thing I can't find any mention of after over an hour of searching the forum here. 

I'm uploading via FTP and attempting to assign multiple files to an existing category.  However this does not seem possible as the system always creates a new category to put them in. 

For example I leave the "New Category" field blank and pick the existing category from the drop down menu.  It will assign the files to a new category called "-no name-" within the category I chose.  What I want to do is assign the files into my chosen category.

Is there a way to do this?  Or do I need to go into each file and reassign them to my desired category?
