i can't uninstall.. i get 4 errors... and i was stupid enough NOT to make a back-up..

I didn't think an uninstall would work, but I guess it did for Wildcard.
I would think the only way it could possibly work is if you didn't have any mods installed, and it was just SMF with TP.
Or, if you edited out all your mods first, then.....maybe

uninstall to 105 did not help in my case. i still do not see my artcles except if viewed on the front page.
sigh. ow well, not a show stopper for me but would be nice to have.

and looking at the default template i am missing a TON of files, is that so?
I added that tpblocklayout.tempalte file as i read in another thread that it may have helped, btu alas no.

Yep, you're missing a ton of files and folders. Sources, Themes,Packages, Smileys,....almost all of SMF, and all of TP.
Do you have a restore option in your cPanel?

Groan, I have the exact same issue with the wardb warhammer roster. If I enable it on the frontpage is shows, otherwise nothing. Worked fine in 1.05
