Hi my install of TP 0.8.6 on SMF 1.06 went fine... but i don't see any of the new buttons including the new download button. (and yes i did turn it on correctly in the themes section)
All the images needed are in the correct folder heliosmulti_TP/images.
Please tell me what could be wrong

It does not add a download button to the themes. It puts the download link in your userbox under modules.

- simply use the package manager and upload the TP package through there. A short message on top will show what is being done. When that is finished, the mod is installed.

Ok, I'm finally ready to install TP!

I just want to make sure I understand it.

I have the latest version of TP dfownloaded to my hard drive. I assume that I ftp it into the packages folder of SMF and then use SMF's package installer to load TP... Is that right?

You can just use the package manager to upload & install if you want. Either way, it should work.

on4ya, would you open up the TPortal.english.php file in the themes/default/language/ folder and see if this line is located in that file somewhere?

That line is located on 171.

I didn't tell you that my language is Dutch on my forum. I look in TPortal.dutch.php and the last line is 165 there. Is something missing in that file ?

if you get some errors on the install - stop and remove some of the mods that are installed and try again --

Question, is there a way removing or stopping the left/right/top menus from collapsing (Shrinking or expanding) using the little white arrows on the left side of the main menus?

Thunderbolt, you can remove those links to the collapse feature in the index.template.php file.

Look for something like this:
