Umm, when i upload it, it works except the frontpage is nothing but the newest post and a bunch of icons at the top, how do i get a sidebar and a link to the forums themselves in the main page?

More info ss2man44.... My guess (if you're not using the default theme) is that you need to make sure you're using a TP theme. You can't just use a regular SMF theme that hasn't been converted for TP.

I'm using every different kind of TP theme i can think of, first, helios multi, then, TechHead

There you get the right themes for you SMF version and TP.
It seems like you installed the wrong one.

Go to your default theme, and remove all other themes, then install the ones from the link.
I know they are saying for 0.75, but they are uppdated to work with 0.86 to, i just tryed them

Wow, thanks, i tried it and it works, a while back i figured out how to get the images to work by moving them from the babylon theme to my theme

Hi there,
Wanted to give this a go, have uploaded it to my package manager but have a problem installing.

Everything test o.k apart from items 9 & 11.

9 I can understand because I removed all but the default themes.

ManagePermissions.php fails. I am running 1.1 RC2 with various mods (24 in total)

Any ideas if there is a simple fix or manual edit I could do?

Lokking at the mod instructions is says "search for" 'profile_remote_avatar' => false,
         )

My code looks similar like:
            'profile_remove' => true,
            'profile_server_avatar' => false,
            'profile_upload_avatar' => false,
            'profile_remote_avatar' => false,
            'profile_ignore_board' => true,
         )
         ,
         'googlebot' => array(
            'googlebot_view' => false,

There is obviously a part of a mod inbetween that and the )

What could I do? I dont really know what the brackets are for.

I suggest you take the manuall install package and run that instead when you have all those mods installed.

I think you encounter the problems just because the mods, the package manager cant find the strings needed to make the installation, and thats why you get the failed.

Download the manual install package and follow the instructions there and you will have TP working to

I was thinking that this is going to be a big job, with me having to alter all the theme files etc. (and not knowing exactly what I am doing)

As far as I can tell that string I mentioned in the ManagePermissions.php is the only problem and the package manager can sort the rest out.

Is it not possible for me to manually add the

I guess that the theme files are automatically updated, if all fails will uninstalling the portal mod revert everything back how it was previously?
