TP 1.0.5 beta - does it work with 1.1.5 SMF? any issues I need to know about?

One thing i want to know that hasn't been mentioned is the supported MysQL version

My host uses version 3 and a fresh install of 1.1.5 with tp 1.0.5 gives 500 internal server error

i'll stick with .983 for now
