Smoky, please... what do you think will happen if the member replace the entire core theme ?
If he have other mods or changes made, they will be lost.

We do like to have some help,. but please, if you cant pinpoint the issue, then dont give an answer that can destroy everything they have on the site.

Back to topic, find the mod in question and look at the mod file and see what code it adds to the template file, when you have found that, remove the code or replace the part of the code that are changed.

have you tried to replace the core/default theme??  :o

You mean the whole thing?

Many default files are used by other themes, right?
(ex. if theme doesn't have it's own display.template.php or other file like that)

I am just wondering why load.php error messes up just a default theme...

G6: excellent advice... I will try that!

itweb

Yippeee! Got fixed the default theme.

I did what G6 said and try to track down the changes in mod files. There was nothing interesting for load.php, but... I noticed some bothering changes to default's index.template.php

The culprit was... updatechatstats function called twice (shouldn't be there even once, since mod was uninstalled) that messed things up, because there was nothing to call to since load.php was cleaned out of this mod.

So, even though error was pointing to load.php, index.template.php had to be fixed :D

Now, I can answer IchBin's question from the second post:
QuoteWhat about the default theme? Does it happen there as well?

Yes, it does. Right panel is lowered ALSO in the default theme.

Smoky

that is what i meant.. sorry i didnt make it plainer...

IchBin

Well if it works for everyone else, then that probably means your code or files didn't get updated properly when you installed TP. You'll need to go through its install instructions and make sure everything is right. We have a Doc in the Docs board for this.

itweb

Would You advise total delete and clean install from scratch?

What files should I preserve (including theme files?). Is there a howto/guide I missed about that?

IchBin

You will lose all mods doing this. Installing them after a clean SMF file upload would be required. No docs here are restoring your forum as that is SMF's department.

itweb

Just wondering... Is there a common place (that all themes use) where TP defines panels when being a guest vs being logged in?

It's just a minor glitch so I would like to avoid complete rebuild if possible.

IchBin

The index.template is where the panels are defined.
