Both... American football is mostly only popular in the US, while the rest of the world likes soccer and dose not care that much about football.

That is something that could work too though...a sports oriented theme....

Soccer, football (NFL or CFL...or generic, hehe there is a nfl avatar pack), Hockey, curling, tennis, golf.....a few sports could go in there...

Another one could be car related... Nascar, Formula One, Indy, 1/4 mile(?)....and I don't think anything car related has been done afaik...

I do like the TV series idea for a theme. Not sure which ones I would add though. Heroes, Stargate, Lost or something.

Sports is good too. Football, Soccer, Baseball.
