[Block] recentPosts dropdown in a block

I put this on a side block and the drop down box hangs off the block border.  Is this only for a center block? Would you know would you leave off the date on the results?

Currently this only uses the default recentPosts code from the SSI.php file. In order to drop the date off you would have to customize the code. I don't have the time to do that at this time, sorry.
