Coppermine has a built in bridge to bridge to SMF. You can just install Coppermine on /gallery, and SMF on /forum, TP over SMF, then go to Coppermine admin and bridge it to SMF. :)

When bridged, it will then use the userdatabase of SMF and user registration page of SMF.

Later, manually change the theme and add a button to your theme.

Here's my site with SMF, TP and Coppermine. I have ReviewPost as well. :)

I have set up a testing folder on my server just to see how are things working... one thing i don't understand regarding diffirent themes - do i need to instal SMF theme to change the view of my portal or i need to install TP theme instead? What is the diffirence?

And what if i install (bridge) coppermine also... is this script going to work under the old "regime" or it will be influenced by the SMF or TP...  :o

Ken.

When you have TP installed you then need to use themes that are designed for TP, themes that are written just for SMF will not work/display correctly after you have TP installed.

The smf-Coppermine bridge only connects the Coppermine gallery to the SMF member base... the two of them (SMF & cpg) have no other connection and do not influence each other in any way except for that members data.
