Help with forum layout

Yes, you should download and install the theme again. It has been updated since then.

Yes, I just replaced the download in the tp-downloads folder. It was updated last week, but the change wasn't reflected in the date. Not sure I can change that. But if you downloaded it sooner than last week then just download that one again.

Well that is something I wish I hadn't done, it's just wiped out hours and hours of work (all the manual modifications required to get features and mods to work), I uploaded the latest version, looked at it and realised I would have to do all the work again, so deleted the newly uploaded version, and it wiped out all my modifications I'd made, so now I have to do it all over again.

Well my forum is a total mess now, so need to do a complete back up, but no idea how?

Did you have a backup from before you started installing the theme? You should always backup right before you start messing with the files or database.

I usually do, but all seemed to be installing ok, now I've got no forum at all, take a look www.coupe-club.org.uk.

I have a full back up created via the forum maintenance in admin on the forum, but no idea how to do a restore??

Alright, Here what i get.

I read his topic on SMF Helper.  And he is asking about a full backup.  Jump1979man told him how to do a FULL BACKUP all that.

To ask how to restore a backup is a pretty simple thing to accomplish therefore if you ask how to restore a backup then one can only logically assume that you dont even know how to create a backup.... right on

You cannot assume someone is going to hold your hand and do everything for you.  When you get an answer about going to do it through your Cpanel and you still dont know how to do it then you ask what is cpanel or where in cpanel do I go?

You dont act like a baby and say I am just going to scrap it......because frankly I dont care if you do and neither does anyone else. right on

Now if you want to ask questions and get answers then fine continue to do that but we obviously have no idea how much knowledge you have on the subject.

Generally if you know how to make a backup then you also know how to restore one.

Why dont you try and give us more info on what you know and what your config is....maybe what your server admin software is....

generally you can also google how to restore backups....

if you saved the backup through smf then you just restore it through smf the same way..and is this a database backup or a file backup?Huh?

Give more info and youll get better responses. Awesome
