worked for me no problem.  I just have to go into my package manager and update the packages that have missing 'uninstall' links.

for those I'll just go to forum/Packages:
- copy package to my desktop
- unzip it
- edit package-info.xml
- add 1.1.2 to the install and uninstall lines of the file
- close the file and update zip file
- upload back to forum/Packages and replace existing file

Did you do this for TinyPortal as well?

I just updated one of my packages as you mentioned and I now get the following error:
"Not unique table/alias: 'pin'
File: /home/www/riverside.doddemagen.com/Sources/Load.php
Line: 895

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.2, while your database is at version 1.1.1. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php."

Everything was working fine before.  Ideas?

I did it for all my packages.  To resolve this error, upload the attached file to your root directory and run it, e.g. http://www.riverside.doddemagen.com/forum/upgrade.php

Just follow the unscreen instructions from there.

This upgrade.php file came from the smf 1.1.2 package.

Should this be done before or after updating the packages?  Does it matter?

Since you already upgraded to 1.1.2 I would think it doesn't matter.  But anyone could chime in here if they think otherwise.  I would do it after.

I have a test site with SMF 1.1.1 patched to 1.1.2 and I'm having problems, file is corrupted or ... , with more than one mod even with <install for="1.1 RC3, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2"> in the package info. Uninstall the patch, install the mod, re-install the patch works fine.

Did everything as mentioned and still receive the following error:

"Not unique table/alias: 'pin'
File: /home/www/riverside.doddemagen.com/Sources/Load.php
Line: 895"

Help!!

i thought that maybe since i hadn't uninstalled the 1.1.2 patch before reinstalling that that might have been the problem.  i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the patch and i still receive that error.  should i just wipe everything and start over?

and since i've never had to do this before, how do i save my membership & post database so i don't lose everything?  or will that be necessary to fix this?

There's no need to start completely over. If you just upload a fresh set of files from the SMF upgrade package your forum will be as good as new with memberbase/posts still in tact.

Once you have it working that way, just download the zip I put in the installation board for installing TP on SMF 1.1.2
