@IchBin - hehe.. I've brought this up before.. a long time back.  In fact, when I first installed the Enterprise theme.

What happens:
SMF sees there is a Modifications.english.php file in the current theme, and skips loading the Modifications.english.php file from the default theme.

What should happen in my opinion:
SMF should load the Modifications.english.php file from the default theme, and then load the current theme's Modifications.english.php file.

In actuality, it should be Modifiction.<selected language>.php, but for conversational purposes, I guess you get what I mean.. heh

i mean i dont want to compare the forums or something but "most" cms's and forums are differently configured on the theme part , where you can copy paste folder into /themes/ and change the settings from config setup on admin screens. What i do imagine SMF could do something similar to integrate themes with mods together. See such SMF i would call like SMF Pro and sell it 10$ , meaning put it as download for 10$. Where other SMF Lite would be free.

Just suggestion from bussiness prospective.

Thurnok, totally agreed on the Modifications.xxx issue. I hope we can correct this for the next major SMF release, as its a bit limiting.

Although its as easy as just copying whatever is in default/Modifications.xxx to  current theme Modifications.xx - and keeping what theme needs of course - it will mean you don't have to worry about it. And Theme designers do not have to worry about it. :)

Great post even as it has not been used in a while.  How do you add a button for gallery?

IchBin

The search button is your friend Johny.

johnyskd

Yes,

I agree.  THANK YOU for taking the time to reply to my post.

Zetan

johnyskd, you seem to have a problem.. We do have some of the answers, and we repeat them often enough.
There is a guide to adding buttons in the Docs section.

Also adding a button to the SMF Gallery is no where near what we support on this site, i thouigh i read the url to be tinyportal and not SMF or SMF Gallery, but i may be wrong  ;)
