Download manager. When?

Have u any schedule, abt this feature? I think TP is in a good state now, few bugs, think it's time for a major addition like DM.

PS: I couldn't decide where to post it here or News, hope I made the right choice.

DM will give user the ability to upload and admin to add Sections/Categories like in MAMBO-Docman right?

What I have now:

- categories/sub-categores, infinite levels.
   - name
   - access (membergroup based)
   - optionable icon for category
   - description

- files
   - name
   - access is controlled by category
   - downloaded x times
   - description

- admin section: upload types, membergroups allowed, max size.

There will be a extra button on the menu called "downloads" that take you to the download section, where categories will show depending on access( if you try it anyway, it will give error). Additional links will appear in there for 1.) admin section 2.) upload screen(for those that are allowed to upload).

Things to do:
submission routine with approve/reject, stats, "pre-approved" in tandem with submission etc. etc.
