SMF 1.1.1

ok, I'm confused!!  Not new I'll admit!

AS I read through this my firts thought was just upgrade SMF to 1.1.1 and all will be well, but as I read further I see posts about mods not working etc.  I don't run many mods at this stage, removed a lot prior to rebuilding forum.  Will 1.1.1 just upgrade my site and leave TP as is or will I need to reinstall TP .97 again after the upgrade to 1.1.1

I know this should be obvious but it was a long night!!

1.      TinyPortal      0.97            [ Uninstall ]  [ List Files ]  [ Delete ]
2.    Users Online Today Mod    1.3.1    [ Apply Mod ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]
3.    SMF 1.0.9 and 1.1 RC3-1 Security Patch    1.0.8/1.1 RC3    [ List Files ] [ Delete ]

biggest query is will TP need to be reinstalled after I apply 1.1.1 patch?
