I would think if you aren't capable of doing this, it is probably a good idea. :)
It really is close to the next release, as painful as it is. :P

well I have a problem. Im using SMF1.0.5 and was using have been using tinyportal with helios theme. I thought I would check out the tinyportal v.75. Anyway downloaded went fine. Applying didnt. I thought maybe I did something wrong so I set theme back to default and deleted v.75 to install again. When I removed  v.75 I am currently unable to access my site. Im getting this error:

Template Parse Error!
There was a problem loading the /Themes/default/index.template.php template or language file. Please check the syntax and try again - remember, single quotes (') often have to be escaped with a slash (\). To see more specific error information from PHP, try accessing the file directly.

You may want to try to refresh this page or use the default theme.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ',' or ';' in /mounted-storage/home6/sub002/sc13148-HLNX/www/Themes/default/index.template.php on line 61

The site does not come up at all. Any suggestions? Site is P3Challenge.com

Just re-upload the original index.template.php, Load.php, index.php and Errors.php. The uninstall doesn't work 100% each time.

Well it loaded well, but I am unable to use the center block and front page block options. The right and left work great. I see all the updates, I just cant get a center block or front page block to work. Any Idea what is wrong? I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that was the problem, but it wasnt. Any advice would be great. Im using SMF 1.0.5 and TPv 0.75 with helios theme.

Do you have a link to the site? Or perhaps a screenshot of the Edit Blocks screen? After adding blocks, did you remember to to turn them on? (solid red or solid green circle next to them?)

Also, Check the Frontpage Settings to see which radio button is marked there as well.
