I guess removing my Mambo bridge and replacing with Tinyportal is going to take some doing?

Well..just removing the mambo and then making sure SMf runs correct will be it. After that TP simply installs as a mod.

If you are looking to move the mambo content over to TinyPortal, thats a major task I am afraid.

I wanted to inquire about this installation before I proceed to see if I can expect any issues with things NOT working as opposed to just editing the files.

Current setup:

SMF 1.1RC1
Helios Multi Theme
SMF Arcade 1.2.3
User Online Today
Spoiler Tag
Gmail Field
Xbox Live Field
Xfire Field
Skype Field

I'm not sure which files those mods affect. But Tinyportal will probably fail on the test install if they modify the default themes index.template.php file. Only one way for you to find out though. Just make sure you make a complete backup of your site before hand. In some cases your mods will just need a reinstall when your done or maybe not. Its hard to say considering I don't use all those mods.

All mods will work..but your already modded Helios will need extra TP code in order to show . I think most of them mod Post.template and possibly Display.template..so they should be fine after TP is installed. It will only affect the index.template.

What can go wrong is during install..TP, as any other mod , might look for code that are now adjusted of other mods. Then it will fail there.
