Welcome and God speed to Dennis and all who are in need.

Hoping everything will go/has gone well with the operation, Carina.

I remember that deaded wait period..our eldest daughter had surgery on a closed vein near the heart, when she was only 1 month old. That waiting was one of the longest I have been through.

I know that will be the toughest thing ever for me, they say it will take from 10 to 14 hours if every thing goes as planed, there will be 2 teams of sergents to operate on him, one heart team and one lung team as they need to repair the lung vein that goes in to the heart.
So to morrow i will be .... bhaaaa, it will be a long day and a long night.

2 and a half hour since i walked away after they put him to sleep. 10+ more hours to wait. This is killing me already.
I have walked and walked and walked with out even getting some where, cant really remember where i went eather. Just had something to eat, and i thought i would pass by and say that hi is in the operation now, and time is so slow it kills me.
Thank you all for your input and thoughts, and the candles are beutiful.

Just remember Mrs G, even when you are walking alone, you are not alone, God is there by yourside ready to help you and comfort you and to give you the strength to get thru this ordeal. All my thoughts and prayers are with you right now, I hope you and Denis will be ok. Gary

I wish I was there with you, sweetie. We could play card games or watch a movie on the computer. Or just talk about stupid things to allow you to think about something else, if only for a moment. We're all there with you in spirit, though. You've got quite a crowd of people following you all around the hospital.
