I just went back to her site & to download the mod you have to be a member.  Now we know. :)

Dont install it, cause it will not work on the newer versions of TP and SMF

Whoops.  Too late.  I did install it (after adding 1.1.2 to the package info) & it wouldn't install over sources/tportal.php or themes/default/tportalblocks.template.php.  I installed it anyway...& crashed my site.  I had a parsing error on the tportalblocks.template.php.  So I redid those 2 files manually...& it works. :)

I think it's working.  http://leforce.dreamhosters.com.  Guests can see I'm a member who wrote a blog.  But they can't read my blog.  I wrote one.  I can read it.  I also logged out & signed in as my kid...she could read/write them too...if she ever signed in herself.  ::)

I haven't checked the error log.  Could be full of stuff.  But it "seems" like it's working.  ???

I love wordpress...I recently built 2 sites with it.  But...I can't figure out how to do that with mine.  I could pull it into TP w/ iframe article but what about logging in?  Is it one registration/login?  Or do people have to login to wordpress when they want to blog?  I'm trying to avoid that.  I want an all in one...but I don't want Drupal or Joomla.

I checked the SMF site...there is no bridge or anything.  And I don't know enough about SSI & what not to be messing around with this stuff.  I have enough trouble with some mods.

But yours does look great.  Good job. :)

Check so your visual verifications in the register page is showing up, also that the sound when you try to listen to the letters.
They have failed on several sites using felblog.

You're right.  They're failing.  :(  Is it fixable?

Well G6...my site's very private...for family & friends only.  So the only way to sign up is through an invite (I used that mod).  I was hoping the letters wouldn't matter then.  But even with the invite the registration page shows up & the verification letters are there...well they should be but there's an X.  But since one has to be invited...maybe I could just disable the visual verification?

Not what anyone could find  :-\

I think I'm just going to disable the visual verification for now.  Either that or I'll have to uninstall TP & try another portal that supposedly comes with all that stuff (blogs/gallery/etc.).  But that portal can be bridged with a few softwares & TP's specifically for SMF.  Plus I'm getting kinda used to TP now...I've had it on my last 3/4 sites or so.  I don't want to dump TP. :(  I just want some dang blogs...& an empty error log. ;)

Thanks for telling me though. :)
