Problems with the Downloads Module

I already searched the forums if there is something like that someone had before, but the posts I found on that subject are more like with File Permissions etc.

I have the following Problems. When I try to upload something, the upload never really ends. I mean, its looking like. When I check on a new browser window after some time, I see that the File was uploaded but the upload window never really stops. Also, when I do want to download something, I click on the file (in the Top Download Box) and its loading and loading and loading but nothing happening in the end.

All File permissions are set to 755 and to the owner of the httpdocs folder, so thats all right. My php.ini settings for longer upload and execution time are for sure set right for quite some time but what can it be else ?

The only thing i can think of is a host configuration issue for the server your on

No, that canÂÃ,´t be because when I had my Website, just a short time ago, it wasnÂÃ,´t a problem, and I had to do with lots of downloads. Its only in this here.

Ok, so I have to use something else for downloads. thx anyways.
