This is the way it goes. I have a forum that started with 1.0.8 and upgraded to RC3 and then have a test forum with a clean RC3 install. My test forum is set the way I want but after 72hrs. of work I can't get the upgrade of RC3 to work with TP on my main site.

Thing is I want and need a portal and have it on my one site but try after trying I can't transfer the database. So mainly, I will pay to have someone transfer the database from one site to another.

I did ask for support before in another thread and only got RC3 is not supported with TP. This came from a moderator on this forum  with no support. I will follow your link but my offer of a few bucks mainly to Bloc to tranfer one database from one smf forum to another still goes.

You can look at every post I have made can't you? I don't care to bring up the past but work on the present. Database transfer is the current question now.

I have never talked with Bloc but I like almost everything he has done here and that is the only reason I asked for help here. Sorry no gossip or slamming from me.

Actually I did look at your posts and did not find any reference to TP not being supported in RC3. My assumption was that there was a misunderstanding and a link would have been a place to start sorting things out.

Fo the record TP for RC3 is supported here.

As for your db transfer, there is a ton of info at SMF using the search feature and there is also info on this site.

The issue with TP not being supported by RC3 was before TP was released as the beta version TP 0.95. TP had not been updated to work with RC3 yet, so we weren't supporting it yet. If you'd have taken a look around you would have known that already though. Feel free to ask your questions now, everyone else is.

Just to let people know I got everything fixed and have TP up and running on my main site and also have the database transfered to my test site that now doesn't have to become my main site. It may of taken hundreds of hours but it is finally done and I can't thank any one person for it was the little its and bits found here and there that I put together with a little of my own that made it work. Sorry if I sometimes come off harsh that is just me in the way I write.

One thing I would like to say is thank you Bloc for all your effort in supporting SMF and all your great mods. When I look at my site 2/3rds of the mods come from this forum so it goes to show that something is being done right here.
