how can I have 2 or more "featured articles"

Ok then.. how about setting up a centerblock so it will only appear in index page.. that'll emulate what I'm wishing for.

So far centerblocks can only appear in index when "none" is chosen. however, there are no way to limit it to index page.

Having a separation between sorted articles and sorted forum posts will perhaps solve your problem. Looking into that as an option for 0.9.6.
