Hello Guys...
Here is my problem...
I had a site with TP 0.8.6 and SMF 1.1 RC2 ...
Then i upgraded SMF to 1.1 RC3... all was ok...
But then i upgraded TP to 0.9.5 and after installation i get this error and no site is loading...

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/grforums/public_html/jonakis/Sources/TPortal.php on line 1454

I am waiting for a reply...
thanks...

Upload a new TPortal.php to your source folder and see if it works

Ok i reuploaded all the contets of the Sources dir and now i get this....

Template Parse Error!
It seems something has gone sour on the forum with the template system. This problem should only be temporary, so please come back later and try again. If you continue to see this message, please contact the administrator.

You can also try refreshing this page.

When you installed (upgraded) did you have the forum and portal set to only have SMF Default Core theme?
Usually when there is parse errors from an install, you have used some other theme then the default.

If you typ in the direct url to your froun default theme ( should be) http:://www.yourdomain.com/smf/index.php?theme=1
do you get your forum and portal to load then?

jonakis

when i upgraded i had not the default theme....
When i type http://www.grforums.com/jonakis/index.php?theme=1

i get the same...
SO???

Delete your TP install and set your forum to the Default theme before you install it again.
If you have read any documentation you would have known that ;)

Never ever install a mod of any thing else if your forum' not set to SMF Default
All the base is there, not in any other theme

You have to do it manually if you cant get in to your Admin package manager and do it from there

What you can do is to install the manual install package, that way you manually add in all the files and code to the default theme directory

OK..I solved it...I did what u said and now its ok...

thanks...
