When i click on the Settings link for tp i get the following message

You have an error in your SQL syntax near '(smf_themes AS tb) ON th.ID_THEME = tb.ID_THEME
WHERE th' at line 4
File: /var/www/html/mg/forums/Sources/TPortalAdmin.php
Line: 1229

the other tp admin links work

i'm gathering it has something to do with my theme but am a bit lost as to where to go from here as i'm doped up on cold medicine and cant think straight

i'm running SMF 1.1 RC3 TinyPortal v0.9.5 and Cerberus theme

G6Cad

That error is a theme error.
We dont have all the themes updated quite yet.
But i think you can live with that error until Cerberus is updated properly for 1.1rc3 and TP :)

#2
hmm looking deeper now i notice that all posts made by me(Rhiannon) the "administrator" appear blank
and any replys to them dont show at all

the site is www.meridian-guild.com

not sure if this is related or not but the only thing i did today was to upgrade the tp install

you can see what i'm talking about in the public section under either website Stuff or meridians trophy case

G6Cad

Seems like something went wrong.
Did you have the forum set as default SMF when you made the upgrade to TP ?

What you can do is to download the manual install package, extract the files, upload them to the forum, run the manual_tp_install.php trhough your browser. But from the default SMF theme.

For the looks, it seems like the boardindex.template.php is corrupt

impala68

ok when i origonally did the upgrade i used package manager under the cerebrus theme

then when i got that error i uploaded the premodded files you posted (i'm sick and not thinking straight)

still had that error made first post here

downloaded the files only install and the manual install.php
defaulted the board to the smf default theme
uploaded files
ran manual install.php

no changes still get the settings error even under the default theme and the posts were still gone

relaized that the posts dispaeared after i uploaded the premoded files and that i shouldnt have done that cause package manager would have modded them for me -- replaced them with the backups .. the missing posts are back -- one problem solved

but if i'm useing the default smf theme shouldnt i be able to use that settings link ?

especially after reinstalling ?

The newer version of Tp have made a lot and quite big changes to the codes, so nothing is impossible with theme errors right now.
Expecially Cerberus, helios and Amber have errors now that needs to be updated in order to work proper.

All i can say is that if you have backups on both files and DB, try to reset back to those, and then go from there again and upgrade to 1.1rc3 and then upgrade TP to V.095, and this time, have your forum set to default theme and nothing else, i think that will solve all your issues :)

ty very much for your assistance Mrs G6

i think i'll wait till i'm not fealing so ill or the theme gets updated =)
