Calendar block?

Thanks everyone for the help with my new install of TP.  It's comming together nicely aside from a few small bugs that I'm working out.  With help.  You guys are really great!

I'm curious if anyone has set up a block to show current events from the calendar on the home page?

i dont know in specific since i dont really use the calender much

but have a look in the code snipptes index there area few theads about calenders...maybe u could find what ur lookin for

Thank you.  I'll look around.  I'm optomistic I might find it there.  I had one of 2 thoughts, either a block with 5 - 10 of the most current events, or a block with a numerical calendar with today's date in bold.  Or some version there of.
