Copy error?

The package manager said it was installed successfully but when I tried to Apply the mod, I received this error..

go in via ur FTP client and check the permissions for your Sources folder inside your forum directory

Make sure it is CHMOD to 777 then try and install, if its successful change the permissions back to what they were

If that dosent work - then try uploading that particular file again after u unzip the package and try applying the mod again

the folder is at 777.  While looking through, there is no such file TPmodules.english.php in the file I package installed or the original folder that was unzipped.  There is one TPmodules.template.php.

Download the manual package of TinyPortal, extract the files on your local PC, upload them manually and overwrite the files you have there now.

Nah, still no luck.  Is it possible that since I installed SMF with a program called  Fantastico, some things weren't changed as necessary?

I don't think that should be an issue. Are you getting any errors now? Do you see TinyPortal at all? Are you on the default theme?

My first package download is the one that says Updated Aug 1st.  I've never installed any previous versions of TP and I'm using SMF version 1.0.7

Try to change the permissions to 777 on
forum/Sources/
Sources/Subs-Package.php and
default/languages/
default/languages/TPmodules.english.php

Yea..I just figured out that everytime I was CHMOD a file, the error message was the same until the last part.  I was just doing the folders and not the actual files.  I got it now and thanks VERY MUCH!
