Learning PHP & MYSQL

[akulion]

Hi everyone

Well I have started learning some PHP and MYSQL from http://www.w3schools.com

And up to now I've managed to create a simple database with 2 feilds.
New entries can be made via a small admin console (which isnt password protected lol)
And entries can also be deleted from there as long as you know the value

Now I have basically come to an end of the tutorial available on that site so I wanted to ask you guys for help if you know of tutorials which will allow me to learn the following things:

- Searching and displaying specific feilds from the DB

- Creating a password protected admin panel

- Inserting images in to the DB and displaying them by calling them from the DB randomly or sequentially

- Joining data from 2 tables to create one feild output

- Creating random results using arrays...basically what i would like to achieve is that lets say I enter as my primary key the word "Akulion" - now the query should check each alphabet in he word and generate an output from another table of words like so:

A - Amazing
K - Kookoo
U - Ultimate
L - Lazy
I - Interesting
O - Obnixious
N - Naughty

So if anyone knows some good learning resources out there can you please share them here?

Something like the w3schools website - easy to understand and follow

Thanks
