Pre-install question: Will TP be my new "home page"?

I'm sorry if this has been answered, but I wasn't sure what to search for.

I currently have SMF installed at http://www.vgrefugees.com/forum and am using Wordpress as the "home page" for my site at http://www.refugees.com .  Now that I've discovered TP, I'd prefer to dump Wordpress and have the main TP page as the default page that comes up whenever someone types in http://www.refugees.com (is this making any sense?).

Is this what will happen by default once I install TP to the current SMF location, or do I need to move my entire SMF installation one level up to the root directory (assuming I can)?

Thanks for your help.  I can't wait to get TP up and running.

TP is a mod to SMF, therefor it will only sit inside the forum. So if you want it to be your homepage you'll need to put your forum in the root directory. You can move the whole forum and then just run repair_settings.php from SMF to get it working again.
