Installing onto v 1.0.7

Ok this is the error i get. I cant change the permissions because they r set too 777 already. I also looked for the blank.gif file too delete but it dosent exist.

Its telling you that your don't have permissions on the temp directory files when you are installing. When you first click on the install and it shows you the test install STOP right there! Open up your FTP while that window is still open and chmod the files in your packages Temp directory to 777. Then go back to the install screen and see if you can continue.

Well Im running the install from within the forum and there isnt any test option.

When you uploading the package, and then click on [Apply Mod] it checks the files and see if there will be any errors duing the install.

Thats the place (when it lists the files and shows the errors) where you stop and go in through FTp and change the permissions to the temp forlder and the package, and then proceed with the install in the manager.
