Mods/Themese for stable and non? why

I'm kinda confused as why people make more mods and themes for the non stable boards then the stable one?

Because its more than likely that everyone likes to live on the cutting edge of technology. And the fact that it's more than likely that their mod will be compatible with the next stable release.

I think Ichbin really hit the nail on the head. Besides, with SMF thier RC releases are pretty stable. Kinda like the beta release of TP.

It' s equally true that there are also quite a few excellent mods available and working only with 1.0x because their creators wait for the code to be stabilized for making their changes.

SMF 1.1 final was waited earlier. However there will rather be an RC3 version, under testing now.

I read a thread on SMF that they thought a release of 1.1rc3 would have been released by the end of July, but something is still not good, So a release any day soon is to expect i think after have reading the thread there
