upgrading from 1.0.7 to 1.1rc2

I'm going to upgrade from 1.0.7 to 1.1rc2 - should I uninstall TP through the packet manager before upgrading?

You should uninstall Tp before the upgrade as the code are slightly diffrent between the SMF versions

I upgraded my forum with TP V.086 installed and it went well
Other mods though can be a bit tricky as they often are made for one SMF version only

I don't think you need to uninstall the mod. Uploading the upgrade package replaces all the TP files that get modified. After the upgrade, you simply need to install the TP mod again. I've done it that way many times on my test site.

yup thats right...upgrading will also disable and uninstall all your mods...since all files are replaced so modifications are lost
