Hi everyone,

as the new version of TP has a lot of great new features, how easy will it be to update from 0.86 then? Is this possible, or do I have to uninstall then completely? Anyone an idea?

Otherwise I have to wait till the next version will come out. Hope this will be soon?

G6Cad

Very easy :)
You just do the same as you did with the 0.86
Upload the package to your package manager, and press the install, it will upgrade automaticly.
You dont even have to uninstall the 0.86 :)

Sure? Very easy, thanks a lot!   :)

Is there any chance to take a look at the next version, or to test it and maybe get another beta-tester?

G6Cad

You are a beta tester as is, the TP V.086 is a beta version ;)

The pre look you can see on every team members site i guess, and the TP V.095 on this site. I think that will be the closest to a preview there is to see.
Tha Alpha team is a few selected by Bloc only testers.

<lol> Sure, I forgot... But this seems not(!) to be a beta version, it's so stabile and performing well...

Looking forward to the updates!

I just wish that SMF would update that way.. ;D

G6Cad

As it seems on SMF homepage I'm not even sure they will release anything new in the near by future.
They have had a awful lot of errors and db errors since they upgraded to that development version they have there  :-\

Gargoyle

At least it's good to know they won't release a "bad" version of SMF if they know issues exsist. I think that's why many of us use SMF. ;D

Still wish the updating was easier though... LOL!!  I wonder if any new features will be included or if they are just stream lining what they currently have ??
