Show unread not working

Does the same thing happen when using default theme?

I had/have the same problem, but no solution was found here or at smf (at smf they said it was a known bug/problem). Thats why I made a huge recent posts page, so that people who check in regularly (every few days) dont miss anything.

It is the one area of smf that really bugs me, and could use fixing.

seems as though Bloc is trying to solve the issue now.



UPDATE: I may have been premature in asking for help, I did not check the default theme first and I have found some errors there. I will attempt to fix those and if the problems persist I will ask for help then. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
