TP install?

hello
i'm completely new to smf & tp
i'm running the 'black22' theme in standard smf (1.0.7) forum site and want to install tp (so i can create blocks etc etc etc)
however, everytime i try to install the tp package i get an error stating that my file is imcompatible or corrupt
can anyone help - would love to get this sorted
PS - i used to use phpnuke, which is ok, but i really like the speed of this smf technology!

You can try the manuall install from the Downloadsection here.

Run the manual install, then install via package manager with TP_zip..if that fails - repeat, repeat until succuessful..
