I've been playing around with Tiny Portal with a view to replacing the current, aging, installation of SMF in a Joomla wrapper for http://www.amoc.org

I've set up a sandbox of SMF 2.0 and Tiny Portal at http://www.amoc.org/sandbox/

What I'd like to do is place links to the various categories (with a drop down to sub-categories) on the top menu, after "Home" but have no idea how to do this. Can anyone help?

You may Need some custom work there, and the best way to do this would be, by using an HTML intro front page to your SMF site... Not saying it can be done but would take some work and that would need to be done with the theme, I think and not the Portal. But would require a re-write of your Themes PHP files. Not as easy as it looks!

The menus can be had if you search the web, but placing them in the PHP script is a tricky business, unless you know what your are doing.

or you may research on how to place the created drop down menu in a TP block. this is also tricky some times depending on the code... so you may need to study some!

You simply need to add the menu items to the array in Sources/Subs.php just like any other item.
