I'd rather not add tweaks to the external editor. It's not something I maintain. If it gets updated in the future, it will then lose all the tweaks.

I understand that Brad.  Maxx, FWIW, a better idea for changing that green text might be to mention to the people that make the Whizzywig editor that the green text has an issue when used with a dark background for the textarea and ask them to change the text color for future versions of the editor so that it can be used easier with both light and dark backgrounds for the textarea.  They'd probably be glad to adjust the color of that font if some people are having trouble with it.

Sounds ....Good.... So for those who have this issue can just copy and paste the code they are working with to the note pad or an HTML editor, then back to the dark window, or I could help them, no problem. :)

I changed the #060 on line 54 to #fff and now the text is white and readable.  Thanks a lot for the help.

Of course if I switch to a theme with a lighter background it will become unreadable again.  Seems to me that it would be good to have a whizzywig font color setting on all themes.  Either that or find a color that would work with all backgrounds.  I'll follow the link that was given and see if there is such a color or not.

Thanks again guys for all the info.
